Nestled in and looking over the rolling green hills of Umbria is Locanda del Gallo - a boutique country house immersed in nature and solitude ... A place for relaxation, reflection, connection, and the perfect for which to set off on our adventures. Illuminated Life Projects and Yoga Adventures are so excited and grateful to host a yoga and meditation retreat in this picturesque and magical part of the world.

Living on the ancient border between Perugia and Gubbio, the 12th century Locanda del Gallo is luxuriously equipped with all the things that slow down time and allow us some space to breathe and properly get away from the hustle and bustle of our modern lives.

Locanda del Gallo commands the finest views over it's 28 hectares of gardens, terraced lawns and woodland. Stroll at leisure through the olive grove, inhale the scent of roses and herbs, or simply curl up with a book under the shade of the old elm tree. Enjoy the ecological chlorine-free swimming pool, encircled by comfortable sun loungers and close by the sybaritic delight of an outdoor jacuzzi whirlpool spa. Decend a few more steps and enter the small Moorish style spa and let your tensions slip away in the Turkish bath. Immerse yourself in a cloud of cool, refreshing mint scented water before heading to the peaceful salon overlooking the verdant landscape to sip a tisane and finally, to revive yourself under the hands of our massage therapist.

EXCLUSIONS:

• Airfare and transportation from airport is NOT included (closest major airports are Rome - Flumicino & Ciampino, Bologna, and Florence. Perugia Train Station is 20km from Locanda).
• Massage/Spa treatments
• Alcohol can be purchased on the premise but is not included.
• $500 non-refundable deposit per person unless government-mandated Covid restrictions and complications prohibit travel and/or retreat dates have to be changed.
